As we mark nine years of Raga Monsters, we can't help but marvel at the journey we've undertaken from an exciting beginning in Bangalore, India, to our current community in the vibrant Bay Area. What started as a music and storytelling session by Ramya Shankar (the founder/director) for international kids in an expat gated community has blossomed into something truly special—a thriving community dedicated to igniting the love for music across ages, backgrounds, cultures and cities around the world.
Reflecting on our growth, we are filled with gratitude for over the hundreds of families who have graced our classes over the years. Many of them have been with us since the very inception of our school, witnessing firsthand the evolution of Raga Monsters. Their unwavering support and enthusiasm have been the cornerstone of our success.
But Raga Monsters is more than just a music school; it's a family—a diverse tapestry of individuals united by a shared passion for music and a commitment to fostering creativity and connection. Through our classes, workshops, and performances, we've not only nurtured musical talent but also cultivated lifelong friendships and memories.
As we look ahead, we are excited about the continued growth and impact of Raga Monsters. With each new student we welcome into our family, we see endless possibilities for spreading joy and inspiration through the power of music.
Here's to nine incredible years of Raga Monsters, and to many more ahead. Thank you to all who have been a part of this remarkable journey—we couldn't have done it without you.
"Connections and Consciousness Through Music" is our motto - with Mukti Music.
Warm Regards, Ramya Shankar
Congratulations! 🎉
